Welcome to my site, I am a BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and HCPC-registered clinician based in South London, with over a decade of experience across NHS services, including a specialist community trauma team. I offer evidence-based therapy underpinned by extensive clinical practice and training. I also really like to help people overcome struggles and ensure they get the right help.

I work with adults experiencing a range of difficulties, including all forms of anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, and have a clinical specialism in trauma recovery, supporting those battling with PTSD, complex PTSD, and acute stress reactions.

Whether you are managing everyday stress, overwhelmed by specific forms of anxiety or working through the impact trauma, we will work together to build resilience, restore balance, and help you reconnect with what matters most. If you’re considering therapy, you’re welcome to get in touch for more details or book a free consultation call to ask any questions you may have.

Areas I Can Help With

Trauma

I offer specialist trauma-focused therapy for individuals living with the lasting impact of trauma, including PTSD, complex PTSD, and acute stress reactions. Drawing on extensive clinical experience, I provide a safe and compassionate space to resolve traumatic reactions such as flashbacks, intrusive memories, nightmares, hypervigilance, dissociation, chronic rumination, and overwhelming emotions like guilt, shame, or anxiety. Together, we’ll make sense of what has happened, develop practical tools to reduce distress and process emotions. The aim is to help you rebuild a sense of safety, trust, and connection, moving towards a life guided by your values rather than the pain of past trauma.

OCD

OCD is often described as a disorder of doubt, capable of causing significant life disruptions. Feelings of shame and guilt frequently accompany anxiety. With many years of experience supporting clients, I offer specialist help across all subtypes, including relationship obsessions. Using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ACT, and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), therapy focuses on reducing the distress linked to intrusive thoughts, breaking unhelpful patterns, and helping you regain confidence and choice.

Anxiety

Anxiety takes many forms and often involves common patterns like avoidance, hypervigilance, heightened threat responses, worry, and rumination. I offer therapy for a range of difficulties, including generalised anxiety, social anxiety, health anxiety, phobias, panic attacks, relationship anxiety, stress, and burnout. Together, we work to understand what maintains your anxiety, build confidence to face fears, regulate emotions and manage uncertainty, so you can live with greater freedom and resilience.

Depression

Whether it’s persistent low mood, loss of motivation, seasonal changes, postnatal depression, or episodes linked to anxiety, trauma, or burnout, therapy can help. Together, we focus on understanding what keeps depression going, breaking unhelpful cycles of withdrawal, self-criticism, and avoidance, and developing practical strategies to reconnect with meaning, energy, and self-worth. My approach draws on evidence-based therapies, including Interpersonal Psychotherapy, which helps us explore the role of relationships in both maintaining and recovering from depression.

Self-criticism

Self-criticism along with low self-esteem, and self-sabotage are often rooted in early childhood experiences, developmental factors, or learned patterns of self-relating. These difficulties can show up as harsh inner dialogue, perfectionism, feelings of inadequacy, or a persistent sense of not being “good enough.” In therapy, we explore where these patterns originate, how they are maintained today, and how they may be holding you back from the life you want. Together, we focus on building a kinder, more compassionate relationship with yourself, supporting personal growth, resilience, confidence, and self-acceptance.

Managing Emotions

Emotional dysregulation can show up in many ways, from sudden mood shifts and impulsive behaviours to feeling overwhelmed by emotions that seem unmanageable or impossible to stop. When feelings become intense, thoughts, relationships, and even your sense of self can be hard to navigate. I teach practical emotion regulation skills, drawing on Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and other evidence-based approaches, to help you understand your emotions, reduce harmful patterns, and build greater stability. Therapy focuses not only on managing distress, but also on creating a life that feels meaningful and worth living.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy offers a safe and collaborative space to explore the challenges that are impacting your life, understand the patterns that keep them going, and develop new ways of coping. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or overwhelming emotions, therapy provides an opportunity to process experiences, build emotional resilience, and create meaningful change. This weekly approach is the standard format of therapy and the foundation for overcoming the emotional difficulties or dilemmas you seek to resolve.

I offer sessions both in person and online, providing flexibility to suit your needs and circumstances. Sessions typically last 50 minutes and combine a conversational, reflective approach with the development of practical therapeutic skills that you can integrate into your daily life.

Enhanced Coaching & Support

Enhanced Coaching & Support offers a higher level of care for those working through trauma who may benefit from consistent contact and guidance between sessions. It combines weekly therapy with structured coaching support throughout the week, helping you stay connected to the work as it unfolds in real life.

Alongside therapy, you’ll receive between-session coaching support to help you apply grounding, regulation, and coping strategies in the moments they’re needed most.

Support may include planned check-ins, WhatsApp contact for guidance and phone calls helping you manage distress, navigate triggers, and respond differently to patterns that keep you feeling stuck.

Drawing on approaches such as TF-CBT and DBT-informed skills, this model supports real-world change within a safe and structured therapeutic framework, helping you build resilience and create lasting change over time. This is very much an approach suited to support change in behaviour and patterns, particularly helpful for chronic and acute problems.
