Anxiety is more than just feeling worried. It can show up as racing thoughts, physical tension, panic, or a constant sense of dread. Sometimes it is focused on specific fears such as social situations, health concerns, or phobias. Other times it takes the form of generalised anxiety, burnout, or sudden panic attacks that feel overwhelming and hard to control. Left untreated, anxiety can affect sleep, relationships, concentration, confidence, and overall quality of life.
Recovery is about more than managing symptoms. It is about understanding how anxiety works, learning strategies to face fears, and building resilience to handle life’s challenges with greater confidence. Therapy can help you reduce avoidance, calm the mind and body, and move towards a life less dominated by fear and self-doubt.
Working with anxiety disorders is a central part of my practice. With extensive experience in CBT and related approaches, I support clients to break free from unhelpful cycles, build coping tools, and reconnect with what matters most to them. In therapy, you will find acceptance, practical strategies, and encouragement to make lasting changes at a pace that feels right for you.

As a BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist, I offer a safe, collaborative, and non-judgemental space where you can explore and work through anxiety at a pace that feels manageable for you.
My approach to anxiety draws on a range of evidence-based CBT models for generalised anxiety, social anxiety, health anxiety, phobias, panic disorder, stress, and burnout. Because each person’s experience is different, therapy may focus on calming the physical symptoms of anxiety, reducing avoidance, and building coping strategies, or it may involve gradually facing fears, breaking unhelpful cycles of worry, and challenging self-critical thoughts. Whatever the starting point, the process is guided by your needs, strengths, and goals, with the aim of creating greater balance and freedom in daily life.
